Arrive for Treatment

When you arrive, you’ll be invited to one of our comfortable and relaxing treatment rooms. We’ll give you a comprehensive review of what to expect during a tattoo removal session, make sure you understand what to expect, and answer any and all of your questions.

Before Laser Tattoo Removal:

  • Avoid both sun exposure and self-tanning products for a minimum of 4 weeks before each session.
  • Avoid applying any irritants, such as exfoliations, masks, or peels, for 1 to 2 weeks beforehand. This includes products containing astringents, benzoyl peroxide, glycolic acid, retinol, salicylic acids, and/or tretinoin.
  • Shave the area.

After Laser Tattoo Removal:

  • We will lubricate the area with vaseline and cover it with a band-aid to avoid irritating the area. This usually takes about 2 to 4 days.
  • Keeping the area moist will help avoid scars or scabs from forming.
  • Should the skin feel hot or irritated, you may cool the area with cold compressions, but these should not be applied directly against the skin.
  • Avoid the sun until the area has completely healed, as exposure may lead to hyperpigmentation.
